Mike Aylen is the Chair of National Association for Primary Education (NAPE). The organisation focuses on the education of children from the moment they’re born until they’re 13 years old. The goal of NAPE is to improve education across early, primary and middle years, so that children can have a bright future.
In Mike’s seminar, ‘Future of Primary Education’, topics include the ’emerging history of primary education, vision and mission statements, transformative leadership together with the current and future issues primary schools face’. The below questions are posed:
• How do you create a compelling vision for your Primary school?
• What are the skills leadership teams require so they can create a lasting and outstanding culture?
• What is the difference between vision and mission in creating an outstanding school?
