Childcare-Expo-14-April-201 In two months’ time, EventCity will be welcoming early years professionals from across the UK as the doors to Childcare Expo Manchester open for the first time on the 17 & 18 June.

Exhibitors covering all types of products and services will be showcasing their latest innovations at the show for visitors to see and try before you buy. With the opportunity to talk face to face with retailers and find out how and why their resources can help support the individual needs of each childcare business, the event is the perfect opportunity to research new products and services and stock up for your early years setting.

From training and EYFS development to nursery equipment and educational resources, the show will host a diverse range of suppliers, all with products and services designed specifically for childcare practitioners. Exhibitors confirmed for the show already include Community Playthings, Hope Education, Wesco, TTS, YPO and show sponsors Morton Michel Insurance. Whether meeting new suppliers or just catching up with current contacts, you are sure to discover something new and exciting to help your business develop.

Alongside the exhibition, a variety of features are available for visitors to explore. Designed to help inform and educate early years professionals, free interactive workshops will be taking place throughout the show including a Makaton workshop from children’s TV presenter Dave Benson Phillips and a workshop on harnessing the outdoors to boost child development from Robin Sheehan director of outdoor therapeutic interventions at eQeOUTDOORS.

Educational seminars at just £12 per session when booked in advance will cover a range of key issues and topics including school readiness, outdoor provisions, Ofsted’s Common Inspection Framework and observing, assessing and mapping children’s progress through the EYFS. The informative seminars are a great opportunity to combine some CPD while enjoying a trip to the exhibition.
