And the winner is…

Childcare Expo Manchester returned for its second outing at EventCity and with it we brought back our popular Star Product Award. We received a number of nominations leading up to the show ranging from catering services to educational resources providing our visitors with the opportunity to visit the stands and check them out for themselves. The votes have been counted (over 600 of them!) and we can announce that the winner of Childcare Expo Manchester 2017 Star Product Award goes to… Millwood Education with their Tufty Rug!

“Millwood Education would like to thank all the people that voted for the Tufty Rug as their Star Product of Childcare Expo Manchester 2017.

The runners up included two new exhibitors to Childcare Expo, DoUp4Ways and Taste ‘N’ Tell.

“The star product award was a great opportunity for the consumer to actually see and hold our DoUp4Ways interactive cushion and make up their own minds about the innovative, uniqueness and quality of the product, which was clearly worthy of their vote. Furthermore, knowing the public voted for us and coming runners up, reaffirms that the DoUp4Ways interactive cushion is a great product.

Meeting a variety of consumers personally on the day helped us to gain invaluable marketing information about our product, particularly the large majority of the parents/professionals could see the solution to the problem that the DoUp4Ways interactive cushion helps with, for example developing hand/eye coordination, fine motor skills and helping to lead to independence in children and adults with additional needs.

The biggest area that was really capitalised upon at the show, is the message which got across that this product transfers into many different learning areas from nursery, schools right across to rehabilitation

And finally, third place was awarded to Taste ‘N’ Tell for their innovative REAL systems. We caught up with Ronald Park following the show:

“We are delighted to have won runner up third place in the Childcare Star Product Awards 2017.

The Award was made more special as it was voted for by Childcare Professionals who attended the show.
