Be sure to keep Friday 17th June clear in your diaries as Bloomsbury Education will be hosting well-known author Alistair Bryce-Clegg. Taking place at the Bloomsbury Education Stand B26 from 11am-12pm, Alistair will be on hand to answer questions and share unique experiences of working in early year’s settings. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain advice from the man responsible for writing books such as the award-winning ‘From Vacant to Engaged’ and ‘Best Practice in the Early Years’ as well as contributing many fine entries to the ’50 Fantastic Ideas’ series.

Alistair, who is now a full-time consultant and owner of ABC Does, initially began his career in teaching. Working as an EYFS consultant, he also served as the head teacher for a successful three-form entry infant schools and early years’ unit. With more than 10 years of experience, Alistair is uniquely qualified to talk about a range of subjects pertaining to childcare.

Such is Alistair’s level of knowledge and experience that he is widely recognised across the industry and frequently called upon by both national and international authorities. In addition, he also regularly works alongside private individuals and has been published by many different publications on the subject of EYFS. Through his blog, Alistair promotes a crucial lesson that teaches leading by example over simply ‘telling’. Many of his activities are carefully detailed including planning formats and policies.
