Childcare Expo just keeps on giving

Not long since the Midlands event closed its doors, Childcare Expo is chomping at the bit for their London 2017 appearance. Childcare Expo Midlands hosted at the Ricoh Arena on 30 September – 1 October was said to be an enriching experience for all those who attended. The exhibitors along with the organisers passion to grant the early years community with a rewarding experience to both to excite and impress lit up the room.

Emma Barrett, Event Director, explains ‘The continuous attendance to the show after seven years proves how valuable the content is for early years practitioners who come along. We endeavour to adapt and present new features that engages, motivates and brings a sense of achievement to our visitors. Despite current pressures around funding and requirements, the childcare sector is stronger than ever and this can be seen by the mass of people who turn up to these events to continue to learn and develop to help inspire the next generation.”

Childcare Expo Midlands saw the launch of the first Twinkl Inspiration Zone along with Meet the Experts. Both brand new features gave visitors the opportunity to learn new things, whether that was having a question answered or how to make your very own sensory bottle that could be taken back to their childcare settings. By providing people with the chance to see for themselves how to do something, whether that is how to engage with children through storytelling or mapping their development through EYFS, gives an added extension to an already jam packed exhibition.

Focus on the Spring event continues to drive Childcare Expo forward, making it an established and must-attend event in the early years calendar. New features including ‘A magical place to learn’ along with brand new products and services are guaranteed to make it the best event yet!
