For Childcare Expo’s return to London this spring, organisers Broadway Events have confirmed that Childcare Minister Sam Gyimah will be giving an opening speech on the morning of Friday 6th March.
The audience of childcare professionals at the event will have the opportunity to find out the Ministers thoughts for the early years sector over the coming months. Event director Emma Barrett says “We are delighted to welcome the Minister to the show and will make his speech, which will take place shortly after the event opens at 10am, available to all visitors to Childcare Expo.”
Following on from the Minister, the two day event will continue with a varied seminar and workshop programme designed to support all areas of childcare. Seminar sessions range from developing children’s creativity and supporting language and communication to advancing your professional career. For tips and tricks from childcare experts, interactive workshops will cover areas including children’s health and wellbeing, to learning through play and mark making.
Launching at the show this March, Childcare Expo’s Star Product Award is set to add a bit of extra sparkle. Visitors will have the opportunity to visit the voting station and choose the key product or service they feel is a must have resource for childcare professionals from around 40 nominations. All voters will also be in with the chance of winning a set of four Jungle Chairs from Fine Solutions.
Along with the Star Product Award, there are heaps of other competitions and offers up for grabs from show exhibitors. Including a mini Land Rover and garage workshop kit from Cool Canvas worth over £650, a Terrific Tent Den worth £799.95 from TTS and free Twinkl thermos mugs for the first 100 visitors through the doors for each day of the event, so make sure you arrive early!
Seminar sessions cost £12 when booked in advance and £15 when booked at the show. All prices include VAT. Workshops are free for all visitors to attend. Click here to register for your free tickets to the show.
