Friday 20th November

10.30am – 11.15am: Songs, Stories and Rhymes

Narrowing the attainment gap in language is a massive task. Active, dynamic engagement that has literacy at the heart of it will make an impact and turn the tide of change. This session will explore through ‘voice on’ activities the value and benefit of involving children in quirky, funny, lively action-packed singing, gentle movement and oral stories. New songs, ideas and rhymes written just for the session will be explored.

11:40am – 12:00pm: Q&A with Annabel Karmel

Giving insight and guidance on how to make mealtimes healthy and fun for the whole family. In this Q&A session Annabel will be talking about healthy eating hacks, getting kids cooking in the kitchen and how to fit it all in with today’s busy schedules!

Get hands on with our fun STEM programmes, FIRST® LEGO® League Jr. and FIRST® LEGO® League Jr. Discovery. Have a go at the Six Bricks Challenges, then try coding a LEGO® WeDO 2.0 robot to move, or build your own new town using LEGO® DUPLO® bricks – all while developing STEM skills through playful learning!
