Milk4Life premiers at Childcare Expo

Milk4Life will be exhibiting at Childcare Expo 2016, for the first time since the company started 3 years ago.

Milk4Life offer a free milk scheme for all children under 5 attending a nursery or an approved day care facility for two or more hours per day.

We also offer milk schemes to children over 5 years of age to comply with Government legislation that all children in primary schools are to receive milk on a daily basis at some point during the school day.

Our company aims to make the running of the scheme as easy as possible for schools and nurseries, by managing the entire administration and claiming process to ensure pupils get a healthy nutritious drink at subsidised prices.

Barbara Griffiths, Director of Milk4Life said “We are pleased to be attending this event for the first time and hope to get the opportunity to engage with childcare providers who may be interested in our milk scheme.

“We are passionate about encouraging children to drink milk at some point every day whilst they are at school or nursery. Milk is full of nutritional benefits and can aid a child’s concentration levels in the classroom, helping towards a better education.

“We also feel strongly about supporting the British dairy farmers and work nationally, wherever possible to link local farmers, processors and distributors to deliver local milk to the nurseries and schools.

“Attendees who may be interested in starting the milk scheme for children in their care are encouraged to come and have a chat with us at the event. There seems to be a demand for milk in schools and we would be glad to be of service.”

There will be a free raffle on the stand, people can enter by leaving a business card or their contact details. The prize will be a £100 Argos voucher.
