Following the success of our Childminder Clinic at EXPO’s London conference earlier this year, we’re bringing it back for the national event this October. The Coram PACEY team will be joined by two registered childminders and will be on hand to answer your questions. Visit us at stand E36 to talk about funding concerns, Ofsted inspection changes, safeguarding, and how to start, build and grow a childminding business.
Whether you are new to childminding, preparing for inspection, or looking for practical guidance on running your business, the Coram PACEY Childminder Clinic is a chance to get targeted support from our team and experienced childminders across both days of the event.
Over the two days, you can speak to:
Friday 2nd October 2026: Debra Meakin
I’m Debs and have worked as a childminder for nearly 20 years. I hold a BA Hons in Early Years Education, SENCO Level 3, and have completed the Early Years Professional Development Programme. I have also mentored other childminders.
I have always employed assistants and in 2023 we won Childminding Business of the Year at the Nursery World Awards, this year I have been involved in the revised edition of Birth To 5 Matters.

Saturday 3rd October 2026: Imogen Eyre (West Midlands Regional Childminder of the Year)
I have worked in early years for more than a decade across a range of roles and have run my own childminding business for six years. I am a Level 3 Early Years Educator and qualified EYSENDCO, and I am currently studying for a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood.
My passion for early years has led me down many paths. Working with a cohort of children with a high proportion of SEND and other deprivation factors led me to re-evaluate how to make sure every child gets the very best start in life. I undertook more than 150 hours of additional training in SEND approaches, including bucket time, TACPAC and communication development specialist training, to provide specialist support to my minded children.
