Childcare & Education Expo are excited to announce three special guests to this year’s London show: celebrated children’s author and poet Michael Rosen, Minister for Early Education Olivia Bailey MP, and best-selling author and ‘Dr of Happiness’ Andy Cope.

Michael Rosen Returns to Childcare & Education Expo
Michael Rosen, one of the UK’s most beloved children’s authors, is returning to deliver a special CPD seminar on Friday 20th March, titled ‘The Wonder of Words: Lighting the Spark of Language and Literacy’, exploring why early exposure to rich language and playful talk builds not just vocabulary, but empathy, imagination and joy.
Known for his engaging performances and passionate advocacy for literacy, Michael Rosen’s appearance promises to be a highlight for educators committed to fostering a lifelong love of books in young children. Additionally, Michael will be hosting a book signing on the Friday from 1pm to 2:30pm, which is a chance for attendees to get their favourite titles signed by the man himself.
Welcoming Olivia Bailey MP for the First Time
Joining the programme is Olivia Bailey MP, the Minister for Early Education, who will deliver a free seminar on the Friday, titled ‘Delivering on this Government's Commitment to Give Every Child the Best Start in Life’. This Government keynote will provide valuable insight into how improved family services, affordable and accessible early education, and improved access to quality early years SEND services will transform opportunities for children in the early years and beyond.
'Dr of Happiness' Andy Cope Also Joins the Line-Up
Also joining the line-up is Andy Cope, a keynote speaker, best-selling author and self-confessed ‘recovering academic’, specialising in positive psychology and the science of human flourishing. Often described as a ‘Dr of Happiness’, Andy has published over 20 books exploring wellbeing and positive psychology.
He’ll be delivering two CPD seminars titled ‘Brilliant Leadership: Cutting Through the Chaos’ on the Business Stage and ‘THE ART OF BEING BRILLIANT: Your Wellbeing Launchpad’ over on the Main Stage, as well as an interactive workshop covering ‘CLASSROOM MAGIC: Outstanding, as Standard!’
