In challenging times like this, the Early Years sector needs to remain united to support one another. The announcements made from the Autumn Statement have brought about the prospect of the difficulties that lie ahead. The new National Living Wage of £7.50 will bring about higher wage bills and the increased business rates reduction will not benefit many nurseries as the majority face big bills next year due to the revaluation. The government has pledged to keep an eye on tax-free childcare, but where does that leave childcare professionals now?

Childcare Expo - stay one step ahead blog At Childcare Expo we aim to bring together the Early Years community every year throughout our three locations across the UK. The upcoming event taking place in London on 3 & 4 March continues to provide its visitors with access to valuable information and insights. The new year sees unique features added to the popular event schedule including the brand-new Nanny Zone, created and sponsored by The British Association of Professional Nannies (BAPN), The Association of Nanny Agencies (ANA) and Morton Michel, the Childcare Insurance Specialist.

The Nanny Zone will provide the opportunity for nannies from all over to come together to discuss issues and experiences with leading experts. If you are a nanny then why not visit Childcare Expo to find out how you can enhance your skills, knowledge and experience in a place tailored for you? Childcare Expo - stay one step ahead blog 2

Along with the interactive and informative Nanny Zone, Childcare Expo will host not one, but two seminar streams for the first time since the show launched in eight years. With so much support of the show from industry leaders and the need for critical information during this important time in the sector, Childcare Expo will host the Discovery Theatre and Early Years Hub. Each will consist of a jam-packed schedule covering essential early years topics including Leadership, Forest Schools and of course, the 30 hours’ free childcare issue across both days of the event.

This is just the tip of the ice berg for Childcare Expo and what is on offer. Further exciting announcements and special guests will be revealed over the upcoming Winter months. For more information including the current exhibitor list, please click here.
