What’s Happening At Childcare Expo London?

We are celebrating our 10th birthday in 2019, and we have lots of amazing activities planned, as well as engaging seminars and fun-filled workshops for you and your friends to get involved in. At Childcare Expo London, you’ll have chance to visit new feature areas, let out your creative side in the #ChildcareExpoRocks Zone, browse the shopping village to discover innovative new products and services, and find new ideas to take back to your setting with two days of live talks and presentations provided by leading experts in education.

Returning after popular demand, Your Business Café will be run by Morton Michel. Morton Michel has been the headline sponsor of Childcare Expo for 10 years now and will be attending Childcare Expo London. With 54 years’ experience in the industry, they understand the growing challenges of running a successful business in the childcare sector. Especially the importance of attracting and keeping great people to grow and develop alongside you. On 1st and 2nd March join the team of industry experts, chat over free coffee and ask for advice and support on anything from Employment HR, Staff Retention, Employee Benefits and any other business challenge you may be facing.

This year, we are delighted to have Annabel Karmel, The UK’s No. 1 children’s cookery author opening the show on Friday 1st March, before taking to the stage for a seminar about nutrition and ensuring that children stay fuelled on all the right foods. One of CBeebies’ most-loved founding presenters, Sid Sloane will also be coming along to entertain the crowds and will be hosting a workshop on Saturday 2nd March. Children are welcome to visit as long as they are supervised at all times, but will not be allowed into the seminar theatres. There is no need to register children under the age of 16 as there will be plenty to do at the show to keep them occupied!

Childcare Expo is a trade event and therefore will not be suitable for college students – however, undergraduate and postgraduate students are welcome to take advantage of the seminars and networking opportunities available.

Please remember that when you register for Childcare Expo, you are agreeing to allow photographs and videos to be taken of you and your children by the official event photographer and videographer to later be used for publicity purposes.

Testimonials

“Attending Childcare Expo reminded me that I am part of a much bigger and wider community of Early Years practitioners, that each and every one of us was passionate enough about what we do to travel to London off our own backs to improve the life chances of the children we teach. I would recommend attending, if only to remind yourself that you are not alone in this sector, that you don’t need to work in a bubble and that there are lots of people out there just as willing to get covered in glitter, pretend to eat a playdough cake, talk seriously to a puppet and sit on the tiniest of chairs as you are.”

Louise Smith, Visitor, London 2017

“The quality and content was superb. Organisers were very welcoming and organised. Thoroughly enjoyed workshops and have already shared information with colleagues. Excellent variety of stands/stalls. Next time I will arrange to spend longer at the expo to experience the seminars. Many thanks for a super day.”

Suzannah Gleaves, Visitor, Manchester 2016

“On a recent visit to Midlands Childcare Expo I was struck by how differently I now feel towards the Childcare Expo brand and its events. As I am now a regular blogger for Childcare Expo, I felt very much a part of the team and I almost felt a little bit important (though very much a small fish in a big pond) as I walked around and spoke to people whom I have previously networked with thanks to these fabulous events!”

Hayley Smith, Brand Ambassador

“Had an amazing day at Childcare Expo. Highlight of my day has to have been meeting Dave Benson Phillips, who is my childhood idol – I may have been a little starstruck! The seminars I attended were also really helpful and I learned a lot about new topics, so it was well worth the visit.”

Jenny Barber, Visitor, Midlands 2018

Will we see you there?
